The single-chip true zero-order wave plate is installed on the ring glass support, the light only passes through the quartz material, and the optical path has no glue. This wave plate can meet the requirements of higher damage threshold and better parallelism. Brackets can be designed according to customer requirements.
A.True Zero Order Waveplate
Features/Functions
The glued true zero-order wave plate is made of a monolithic quartz crystal true zero-order wave plate and a K9 substrate. The quartz crystal is a very thin true zero order thickness and a K9 substrate is used to increase its mechanical strength.
B. Monolithic true zero-order wave plate
Features/Functions
Compared with cemented true zero-order waveplates, a single true zero-order waveplate consists of only one quartz crystal and is mainly used in the near-infrared band
A. Zero order wave plate
Features/Functions
A zero-order wave plate is generally composed of two quartz crystals, and the thickness difference between the two crystals produces a zero-order phase delay at the desired wavelength. The zero-order wave plate has higher phase delay accuracy than the low-order wave plate, is insensitive to temperature, and has a larger bandwidth. Zero-order waveplates can be used in precision optical systems.
B. Glued zero order wave plate
Features/Functions
The glued zero-order wave plate is made of two multi-order wave plates whose optical axes are perpendicular to each other, so the phase delay of one of them is canceled by the other, and the actual phase change is produced by their thickness difference . Therefore, it can be suitable for producing wave plates with any wavelength and phase difference.
